Privacy policy
What Calclumo collects, what it does not, which third-party scripts run on the site, and how to exercise your data rights.
Last updated
This policy covers calclumo.com. It is written to be read rather than to be complied with in the abstract, so the important part comes first.
The figures you type are never sent to us
Every calculator on this site runs in JavaScript in your browser. Your salary, your weight, your loan balance, your due date — these are processed on your own device and never transmitted to our servers, because there is no request for them to travel in. We cannot see them, store them, or disclose them, and nothing in this policy can change that without the calculators being rewritten.
A consequence worth knowing: nothing you enter is saved either. Reloading the page clears it.
Who is responsible
The data controller for this site is Calclumo Team. Contact for any privacy matter: support@calclumo.com.
What is collected
Server logs
The web server records each request: IP address, timestamp, the URL requested, HTTP status, referring page and browser user agent. These are kept to keep the site running and to investigate abuse and errors. The lawful basis is legitimate interest in operating a secure service.
Analytics
Aggregate measurement tells us which pages are read and which are not. It is not used to build a profile of you, and it is not linked to anything you enter into a calculator.
Third-party scripts
These load on every page and are the only third parties that receive anything about your visit:
| Service | Purpose | Receives |
|---|---|---|
|
Google Tag Manager
Google Ireland Limited |
Loads measurement tags and reports aggregate traffic.
Their privacy policy |
IP address, user agent, pages viewed, referring site. |
|
Bytelane
Bytelane |
Counts page views and how long a page is read. | Page path, referrer, screen size, time zone, browser language, UTM parameters. |
Blocking these with a browser extension or privacy-focused browser does not break any calculator. The site is built to work without them.
Cookies and local storage
Calclumo sets no cookies of its own for advertising or tracking, and no calculator writes your inputs to local storage. The measurement scripts above may set their own identifiers; those are governed by their operators' policies, linked in the table.
What is never done
- Your calculator inputs are never collected — they do not leave your device
- No personal data is sold, rented or traded
- There is no advertising network, no retargeting pixel and no affiliate tracking on the site
- There is no newsletter, no account system and no email capture
Retention
Server logs are retained for a limited operational period and then rotated out. Email you send is kept while it is useful for handling your request and any follow-up, and deleted when it no longer is.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of personal data about you, and to receive it in a portable form. Under GDPR you also have the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.
In practice the scope is narrow here, because the only personal data ordinarily held is in server logs and any email you chose to send. Send requests to support@calclumo.com and we will respond within the period the applicable law requires.
Children
Calclumo is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes
When this policy changes, the last updated date at the top of the page moves. Material changes — a new third-party script, a new category of data — will be reflected in the table above at the same time.
