By using calclumo.com you accept these terms. They are short because the site is simple: it is free, it asks nothing of you, and the only thing that genuinely needs stating is what its results are and are not.

The results are estimates, not advice

This is the clause that matters. Calclumo produces estimates from formulas that describe populations and standard contracts — not judgements about your situation.

• Nothing here is financial advice. Loan, mortgage, tax, salary and retirement figures are illustrations under the assumptions you enter. A lender's offer, a payroll calculation and a tax return will differ. Consult a qualified professional before acting on a financial decision.
• Nothing here is medical advice. BMI, BMR, calorie, body-fat, one-rep-max and pregnancy figures are estimates from published equations with known error margins. They do not diagnose anything and do not replace a clinician. Never use a due date from this site in place of clinical dating.
• Do not rely on these results alone for any decision with financial, legal, medical or safety consequences.

The known limits of each method are documented on the methodology page. Reading it before relying on a number is the best use of five minutes on this site.

Accuracy and availability

Formulas are implemented from published sources and checked, but the site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. No guarantee is given that results will be error-free or that the site will be available uninterrupted.

If you find an incorrect result, please report it — that is how errors get fixed.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Calclumo Team is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, this site or its results — including financial loss, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential damage. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Acceptable use

You may use Calclumo freely for personal, educational and commercial purposes. You may not:

• Scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site in a way that degrades it for others
• Republish substantial portions of the written content as your own
• Attempt to interfere with the site's operation or security
• Present the results as professional financial or medical advice to third parties

Content and attribution

The text, tables and page design are the property of Calclumo Team. Mathematical formulas themselves are not owned by anyone — the equations are published science and standards, and are attributed to their sources on the methodology page.

Quoting a figure or a short passage with a link back is welcome and needs no permission. For anything more substantial, ask first at support@calclumo.com.

Privacy

How the site handles data is set out in the privacy policy. In short: the values you type into a calculator are processed in your browser and never reach us.
